I really hate my ****** job. Indians and Chinese everywhere. Where the hell does an American fit into a software development corporation anymore? And these assholes think they speak better English than me? I got goddamn 720 on my GRE verbal, mother ******.

Yeah. That's a good point. I've noticed a lot of people lately associating "American" with only white folks when, in fact, all the white American's are technically from European decent. "True Americans" are the natives and Hispanics that lived on this piece of land we call America prior to them being killed off or kicked out. This is why I don't understand why there are racist white Americans out there who talk a lot of trash about Europeans immigrants. It makes no sense.

I know they're not Americans because I know for a fact that they are immigrants who have just come over to the USA. When I say "Americans" I mean those who are citizens (born here or naturalised).

Hispanics in modern context are immigrants from Central and South America, not the Spaniards.
