it make so much noise like an old car humming or a jet plane before taking off 🙁
I just want to take a hammer and smash it all to pieces. is their just such thing as noiseless computer? or one that is so quiet you can't even tell it's on~! even a new car makes less noise then this.
its driving me nuts 24hrs a day and turning it off does help me to sleep better at night.
 
solution:
get a mobile athalon and set it to run at 600 mhz 1.3 vcor with a zalman cnps700cu hsf and a fanless psu.
when you want to game reboot at stock and play then reboot to slow.
 
I will 2nd the Zalman, the one you linked too seems quiet, but the RPM's seem almost too slow to keep the chip cool.

You may also want to see if you can find a setup like Dell does on most of their machines:
Heatsink only on the CPU with a shroud that leads to the back of the PC where a 120mm fan pulls the hot air out.

My brother bought an XPS from them with this setup and the thing is quiet.
