I HATE LINKSYS

My Linksys BEFSR41 has been running 24/7/365 for about four years. It's never given me a problem.
 
my wrt54g has to be reset at least once a month. but other than that, its serving its purpose.

edit: had a linksys pcmcia card crap out on me once. use a netgear one now and it works flawlessly and even picks up some networks my linksys couldnt.

Since you give no reasons, I'll assume you feel this way because you were unable to RTFM or follow on-screen prompts written in simple English.
 
linksys is actually the best consumer router you can get IMO. I used to work in the test department of a company that made routers.

they'd blow away any of ours, netgear, dlink, belkin etc... in speed tests and stability.
 
calm down davesimmons..i dont like them because my 80 dollar befsr81 lags me while gaming...firmware upgrade doesnt fix it..and talking to online tech support people on 3 different occasions where all they told me to do was change the MTU didnt fix it either...

I also have Linksys router BEFSR41. I agree, they're awesome dude! 🙂 even though it's my second one. I like the way they look. They're much better than D-Link and NetGear. My first one broke due to a power incident. So I just got a better surge protector and has been running for more than a year now.

Linksys rules!
 
Linksys routers flashed with community-provided firmware = win. The control and featureset is amazing, and could actually come close to rivaling a $500 router.

I love my Linksys equipment. Never given me a problem.

I've had nothing but bad experiences with Linksys routers and wireless gear. I have had better luck with Netgear. OTOH, I have had no problems at all with my Linksys gigabit switch.
