The cop had just taken it out of the trunk. I shot the pics just 15 seconds or so after the patrol arrived.

Showing up to a gun fight with a knife. The blazing car being a bit big of a task for a handheld fire extiguisher. Of course, regardless of whether that small an extinguisher would do any good it's still the right thing to take it out. And who knows, the blaze spread, debris etc. The small extinguisher would have been useful; just funny to see it in light of the huge blaze.

Yeah, that little hand held fire extinguisher wouldn't do anything to put that fire out. That would be like trying to put out a raging forest fire with a garden hose.
