I hate it when this happens...

Reminds me off one day when I was heading north on I95 out in VA. Car was on fire and the driver popped the trunk to run up to his car and fetch his golf clubs.

It's not that they let us drive by... Those coppers had literally just gotten out of their car. I was still doing about 20mph at that time and cars behind were scrambling to slow down and merge. Even driving by in the far lane, I could feel pretty intense heat from the blaze. Checking the rear view, they completely stopped traffic shortly after I had passed through.

Wow ... wanna bet it was a torch job? Seems odd that the passenger compartment & trunk are burning, but seems OK up front.
Strange place to torch a car though.

lol, that fire extinguisher's a great pic...at least he could've put out the cig that started the whole thing. maybe.

Lol... I feel totally ridiculous saying this, especially as my 2nd post, but, I don't really understand the PWNED pic. Is the cop setting the extinguisher down after using it and it did nothing, or he doesn't want to use it, or... 😱

The cop had just taken it out of the trunk. I shot the pics just 15 seconds or so after the patrol arrived.

Showing up to a gun fight with a knife. The blazing car being a bit big of a task for a handheld fire extiguisher. Of course, regardless of whether that small an extinguisher would do any good it's still the right thing to take it out. And who knows, the blaze spread, debris etc. The small extinguisher would have been useful; just funny to see it in light of the huge blaze.

Does it really matter either way?
