I hate it when a restaurant forces you to use those air hand dryer thingies...

I don't mind it so much if they give you the option of papertowels, but NONE AT ALL?

Paper towels get your hands cleaner and are more sanitary to use. Bacteria likes to live in the blower where it's warm, plus there're all sorts of it on the floor, and the blower sends it flying up in the air every time it's turned on. So you're screwed no matter what direction it's pointing when you turn it on.

Quit peeing on your hands :p

Seriously, they don't bother me... They do suck, but then I just shake my hands off and wipe the last little bit on my pants and I haven't wasted any paper towels :)

So given a choice of using fossil fuels (usually) to produce the electricity for the hand dryer versus cutting down trees to make the paper towels you're faced with a dilema.

I rather use them than the paper towels because you don't know if the last person really wash their hands properly and may have left something on the little thingie you push down for the towels. With the air blower I just push it with my elbow.

If they have the motion detector for the paper towels then I will use that.

Yeah, the blower hand-dryers suck.

And airplane food is bad.

And black people dance better than white people.

And what's the deal with corn-nuts? ...

My problem with them is that they NEVER are on long enough in a single cycle to dry your hands. I always have to push the button at least twice to get my hands even close to dry.

Just wipe your hands on the back of the first waiter you see while you tell them they forgot to stock the john with paper towels.

When I was a kid and they first started showing up in bathrooms, I thought they were sort of neat. :p. They don't bother me one way or the other.

When all the paper towels are gone and haven't been replaced, the blower is very convenient.
