Indiana sucks, I feel your pain.

I've lived here all my life and in 6 short months I'll be gone forever.

Where you moving to?

Chicago

Moving from Indiana to Chicago is like going from an out-house to a port-o-potty. Chicago sucks.

Anyway, maybe you like it better than I do. 😉

I love Omaha 🙂 People here are really nice, but traffic isn't too much fun. Probably better than the bigger cities of the US. Lincoln isn't bad either, but the road system is jacked up.

Go into your wardrobe, you shall encounter Narnia....

But seriously, if you chose to live in Minnesota, you must endure the extreme weather conditions...

Humid summers in Indiana? Ha. I lived in a small town between Indianapolis and Fort Wayne and don't remember the summers being bad.

Try living in Southern Louisiana for the summer/fall. You'll be begging for those "humid" Indy summers...

Haha, grew up in Seattle, parents moved to Indiana (South Bend) for about 2-3 months while I was in middle school, went to school, felt like I was in a class with idiots, apparently IN schools are a bit behind, and I thought WA schools were bad. After a few weeks of class, came home for a family thing, parents flew back and my brother and I stayed here and lived with my grandparents until my parents sold the house. NEVER again will I live in Indiana, nothing there for miles, corn, corn and more corn, had to pay to use the "public" library, closest movie theater 45 minutes away, starbucks didn't know how to make anything that wasn't on their big menu board behind them, Borders (the book store) was the local hangout. Not a fun place to live! Even if the housing costs were so minimal, we got 3x the house there that we got in Seattle but I couldnt have been happier!

I grew up just outside of Gary. I could see the sign: "Welcome to Gary, a friendly city, a friendly people" with bullet holes and rust from down the street where I lived. 😉

Seriously though, Chicago is cold, dirty, windy, stinky, has horrible traffic and just sucks. The only thing good about Chicago is some of the food.

NC is pretty good. Near Durham it is 2 hours to the coast, about two hours to the mountains. Not too shabby.

Oh yeah, crime. Move to Cary if you're such a wussy boy.
