I don't think she can take a semester off if she is a foreign student. If her goal is to transfer to a 4-year college she can simply switch community colleges. No problem at all, since she will get credit for all her classes. Besides, Santa Monica/West LA is waay more interesting than other parts of LA.

After reading the story I can only think, "the world is a f'd up place." A rapist should be prosecuted to the full extent. Don't be afraid that this guy will retaliate. My guess is that once this guy gets in trouble by the law, he will think twice before getting himself into even more trouble.

THe idea that a victim of rape would be too afraid or ashamed to prosecute the perpetraitor almost puts me in a murderous rage.

the guy i dont think is a exchange student.. we have lots of armenian and russian students and stuff in school.. very few of them are actually under the foreign student quota.. most of them have moved here from other countries..

the first guy who abused her and hit her and stuff was armenian i believe.. i will have to confirm that.. he was either arabic or armenian.. i had seen the guy but never actually caught his name.

she just moved into this place so moving isnt a question.. she might consider it... i have to talk to her after she gets back from central america. the thing is that she used to live with some girls before but didnt like it, they were too messy... she likes this guys place.. he keeps out her way and she does the same..
