I hate Guitar Hero

Everyone seems to like it, I don't like it at all. I can play a lot of the songs in both games, and the strum rhythm is WAY off in a lot of the songs, making me incapable of actually playing the game (VH's You Really Got Me is probably the worst example).

Everyone's having fun playing the damn thing, and I can't play the game without unlearning how to really play it It would be cool if they could make the thing more realistic...but then I guess that would remove a lot of the simplicity to the controler.

That's the problem with every mode but expert and the reason I hated that game until I started playing it on expert mode.. the notes match up properly.

OP, GH rocks, and it gets better once you get out of easy and medium. Pro and expert is the bees knees.

I've been having a great time with GH2 on the 360. I'm still only on medium, and some of the songs you have to buy own me in certain parts still. I am going to try to five star most of the mediums before I move up to hard, as I'm still having issues with some chord transitions involving the fourth button.

yeah, that took some getting used to at the start.
ive played instruments for 16 years, so i have some rhythm & didnt take me long to just deal with it.
but i agree w/ most hard > expert are the most fun.

i play the guitar and the drums, as well as a few other instruments, and have no problems with GH's rhythm on hard or expert. try again.

I have 5 star'd all the songs in medium on 1 & 2, now Im trying to 5 star them all on pro. Took me a bit to get the damn fingering right to get that 5th fret, but thanks to my oldest playing with me it allowed me to practice longer then a few seconds on pro to get it down. Now going back to medium its like being on drugs and everything is soooooo sloooooooowwwwww. I find myself going back to medium to have fun and trying to do gold stars on them all.
