Fedex is the only company who absolutely will not deliver your package early, they would rather have 4 million package sit in their warehouse than deliver a single one to anyone before it is due. If it gets to you early with another service, which is rare I will agree, they will deliver it and you can be happy, with fedex, they don't give a fuck, you can call and ask to pick it up and they will tell you to fuck off.

3rd package in a month that will sit down the road from me because fedex is too stupid to deliver it or let me pick it up.
 
apparently fedex tried to deliver a package to me this morning at 7:30am at the apartment office. now I have no way of getting it until monday? awesome...
 
I need to learn to start shipping stuff to myself at work - if it's signature required I have to trek out to their distribution center. The FedEx express center is close, the FedEx ground is far away.

and I need to go there today after work - some parts for the car that I should put on this weekend.

Why would you give them your work address if you don't want it delivered there?
 
We used to get fedex packages a day earlier than scheduled all the time. I think it had to do with whether or not they had extra space on the airplane. It would always take a longer route when it was delivered as scheduled. It would skip a bunch of cities when it was delivered early.
 
to be fair, fedex actually delivers to me early in the scheduled day where UPS almost always hits me at 5-7pm.
 
UPS is doing the same thing to me right now... My package from monoprice has been sitting in an Ontario, CA warehouse since Monday with a delivery date of 3/30. I am starting to think that it is going to be late getting all the way to NY....

work address? huh? I'm talking about my apartment. Every package I've gotten so far has been left outside my door, fedex packages included. Not sure where they fucked up this time. Annoys me that I can't go pick it up until at least Monday they said on the phone
 
I always get stuff shipped at work. It goes through Purolator and they show up twice a day at the office so it's guaranteed to get to me the day it arrives in town.

The best is still the time I was tracking a package online and it showed my city, and it was updated 10 minutes from that time, and I'm like "oh cool I should get it today" no joke, as soon as I'm done saying that there, the office guy who usually brings our stuff arrives with the dolly and the box on it. That's serious accurate tracking right there.
