Caffeine is a gateway drug, ask anyone who's ever done drugs if they used to drink pepsi before they got into tar heroin.

There's got to be some sort of defect for them to start in the first place.

You could use some mind expanding substances.

<< cm'on all you people, stop getting on his back for pot being a drug. yes, pot is a drug but so is caffiene for that matter. The issue here is drugs that will ruin your life. Neither pot nor caffeine will ruin your life. >>

Naw, you're right. Pot won't ruin your life, just millions of brain cells until you get to the point that you look pretty stupid because you can't remember things you did 5 years ago!

Pretty simple here. caffeine=legal additive pot=illegal drug. Probably some pretty good reasons for this.

this argument is futile, anytime anybody brings up a drug related question, especially in marijuana, it's always a flame fest

I love illegal drugs! I make money in illegal drugs, the more drug use there is, the more money I make.

BTW, I work for a drug testing company. If you ever get chosen for a random drug test, theres a decent chance that its me or someone I know who ran the random number generator that happened to chose you.

<< That's a pretty dumb question. Millions die in cars and I think it's worth it to drive even when I don't have to (ie, not going to work or the store for a necessity).

Makes you think about whether or not it should be illegal. People do it, you can't debate that obviously. So why not help them out and regulate it so the next time you know its not going to be rat poison?
>>

Heck yeah, I love cars. This is apples and oranges though. What does pot do for you, exactly? I see nothing terribly beneficial to it, however, I can hop in my car and make it downtown in about 2 minutes whereas if I were to walk it, I might be there in 3 hours.

at least if you were high the walking journey would be more fun ;)

true that..

oh, and also, i dunno if its been mentioned yet, but natural drugs, such as pot and mushrooms, are impossible to OD on... there isnt some point (like with alcohol) where you drank too much and could die from alcohol poisoning, or something to that effect.

According to numerous studies, Johns Hopkins being the most recent a year or two ago, it has been concluded that smoking pot in no way affects long term memory, or your ability to have short term memory. While "high" on a pot, you may have trouble recalling things, but it's no different than someone who is low on sleep and very tired.

Driving under the speed limit = legal. Driving 1 mph over the speed limit = illegal for some pretty good reasons. Think about that next time you are speeding and apply your same reasoning. I doubt you'll never speed again...you think it's fine. I think smoking pot is fine.
