I agree, I'm just curious what the list looks like without them as Comcast doesn't carry the VooM channels.

Directv's HD is horrible quality and it keeps getting worse and they try to sqeeze more and more channels in.

I keep hearing this, but I wonder how true it is. They have already launched a couple of new satellites, and have a couple more going up in '07 IIRC. Also, their MPEG4 conversion is complete.

I'd like to hear about the current HD quality of DTV from people that have it versus links on the internet.

I work at a place that sells DTV... watching it vs watching my comcast at home, I can tell a huge difference.

im sticking with comcast, although i would like foodHD. Quality with comcast is much better compare to the dish. I dont need my quality being disrupted during a storm.

Ok, I'll consider that now that I have a chance to switch to Comcast? How is normal SD quality with Comcast. I switched to DTV from Adelphia a couple years ago, and the quality was night and day with DTV. I'm not sure I want to take the hit on my SD quality going downhill for the sake of better HD.

yeah, Giada looks GREAT in HD...so shapely...although I wish they had more variety, even though it is an HD channel. I don't care about "Great Adventures"...give me more with Bobby Flay, Mario, Emeril...and bring back Jamie Oliver (I know he's busy). I am glad that they have Michael Chiarello and Alton Brown in HD though.

You know.... honestly I dont watch alot of SD so I dont have as much of an opinion on that part. It is a little worse on the analog stuff (2-99), the digital stuff isn't bad.... comcast here is supposed to switch to all digital soon (will still simulcast analog too for the old TVs) and that should get better there too. I watch SciFi and thats about it, it is decent but not great.
