I hate bugs. the fact that they're completely indifferent to the existance of humans really bothers me.

That's a silverfish. They're like cockroaches- they eat dead things and carry disease. They're also wicked fast. Not an easy thing to kill....you get 20 points :)

Huh, if we're talking about the OP, that's a centipede. It eats other bugs. Everybody freaks out them, but they keep all the bad bugs out.

I don't like those bugs. They are a predatory centipede. They are very fast and they wriggle after you smush them... blech.

Although house centipedes are not aggressive, and their jaws are not powerful enough to break human skin easily, they will sometimes bite in self-defense. Severe swelling and pain can result from the venom injected, but in most cases the bite is no worse than the sting of a bee.

well.. my ass would not let bees in the house, so these things wouldnt be allowed in either

But bees can be aggressive.

These won't bother you unless you bother them.

In captivity, house centipedes feed readily on cockroach nymphs, flies, moths, bedbugs, crickets, silverfish, earwigs, and other insects and small spiders.

Sounds good to me.

Besides, I find the baby ones cute for some reason.. lol

You are highly disturbed.

Although I think this is pretty cool:
They capture prey by half pouncing and half lassoing them. They can capture several prey items at one time. They feed on one specimen while holding the others with their quivering, lashing appendages

They are 'good' for a house in moderation. They will control worse pests. Once I start SEEING them though, everything gets a good cleaning...
