An IP number consists of 4 groups of numbers:
Hexadecimal 0-FF, Decimal 0-255.

255.255.255.254 (0 and 255 on the last one are reserved) would be strange but possible, numbers over 255 are not.

Because of the Internet Anywhere mantra that's coming in the future. Cellphones, Wireless devices, I-Net Homes, Smart Fridges, Show On Demand Devices....and all the other stuff that people are clammoring to sell one day. 4.2 billion is not enough, and it's been predicted that we'll be out of IPs by 2010 under the current IP Numbering scheme.

But you aren't a nerd. I always get a kick out of the computer sh!ts in tv shows. I especially like where they cna take a photo and enhance a photograph of a helicopter in the distance to where you can see the people inside, and not to mention that they do it in under 2 minutes.........I think the CSI team should investigat the Kennedy assasination cuz I'm sure they could figure out the 2nd Gunman.

BTW. Swordfish was completely laughable. But cool bombscene + Halle Berry = show to watch again and again.

makes me laugh over and over.
