That one made me physically ill, I had to lie down, but it was still there when I closed my eyes.

This is fake BTW. The Amazing Randi showed how it was done on the Tonight Show quite a few years back. He took a lot of gunky stuff out of Johnny Carson. It's all done with fake skin, fake blood, and some other props.
