I HATE AP PHYSICS

AP Physics B: 3
AP Spanish Language: 4
AP Calc AB: 5

Last yrs scores:
AP Comp Sci AB: 4
AP Bio: 5
AP US: 5

ARRGHH Physics is the only one i don't get college credit for! GOtta take that horrible class again! At least i got another $2500 from california. DAMN PHYSICS

Taking it again pisses me off, thats the hardest class I had in 4 yrs of high school. Not only do they use the same book that is terribly difficult but credits are damn expensive.

you know what you could try doing...

go to a junior college to finish your AA and the junior college should give you the credit since most have different ranger than the universities. Then just do a block transfer. Talk to an advisor first though. junior college is also cheaper. You'll learn the hard stuff in grad school anyway...

Wow, smart guy. I haven't faired nearly as well. I haven't gotten this years score because I figure its not worth it to pay money to find my scores 18 days early, but oh well. Im just hoping I got a 3 on the Physics. Calc a 4 would be great. I got a 2 in Chem last year and a 3 in US History

some colleges really get transfer students like that. My college requires a person to take calc 2 and 3 in junior college to get credit for calc 2, figure that one out. Always check your college first.

what are you talking about??!?! physics is fun!!! about the only course i enjoyed. if you don't want to repeat it, some community colleges accept a C or better in the class as credit. get credit for it at the city college and thus getting credit for it at the university

btw i thought 3 was a passing grade for the AP????

the only AP i took and pass was AP Euro History. got a 3 on it. very good considering i bombed the class completely and did the essay portion in 15 minutes. what a waste of money though. didn't get any credit for it.

I got my results last weekend, and I scored a 5 on AP Calculus AB, not that I was at all suprised by that. I did pretty terribly on AP Chemistry, but though I hate to blame the teacher, it was his fault! My teacher just moved to the United States from the UK and was not very familiar with the AP curriculum. The entire year, we did not have a single test that wasn't either open-book or take-home. As a result, no in the class did any work and we all did horribly on the exam.

In our chemistry class we basically crammed in two years of chem. First year chem we hardly did anyhting. Second year we had to go back and do so much stuff. Only had 8 kids, 2 got 3's, rest 2's. One thing which bothered me is that in AP Chem and AP Physics is that we had barely any labs, which would have helped more I think.

While you may be in a hate relationship with Physics, I'm in a love relationship with Comp. Sci. I just got that grade today, and scored a 5 on the AP CS AB; which I find rather amazing due to how few people get that, and more importantly, the fact that I'm a Sophmore. Life is good.

YOu get $1000 from California if you score in the top 10% of your school or top 5% in the state on the STAR test (stupid standarized test used to rank schools). Then you can get another $2500 if you score highly on the AP tests, the 5 on AP Bio and 5 on AP Calc enable me to get that money.

God damn... how come I never hear about the stuff where I'm getting money? I got 7 golden state crap awards, and scored all 90's on that crap-ass stanford 9 crap they make us take. Well, maybe its because I always sleep during class, blank out during calculas and physics when he's lecturing, and run off to the lab and play games during home period when they make announcements...

Anyway, you guys got your scores already? I'm waiting for my AP Physics and AP calculas scores... Shizidinicks (they wouldn't let me post sh!t), I got a 1 on my Comp Sci AP A test. Our friggen teacher sucks, and he still sucks. Out of 14 people who took it, only 3 passed. We were supposed to cover 17 chapters and our final was the chapter 14 test. God damn, and when we asked him why he wasn't showing us programming tips and crap, he says the reason for the class wasn't really to learn programming, but to learn skills in life such as problem solving and time management. A bunch of crap if you ask me... Damn, I'm babbling now. Just want you to see why I consider him the worst teacher I ever had. He also tought me the least things I ever learned in a subject in a year. I learned more in AP calculas then I did in that class. And thats when I walk in there, knowing I'm going to blank out and trying figuring out a way to sit so I can close my eyes...

While we're on the subject, all the people in charge of the labs at my old high school sucked! None of em knew anything. Heck, I saw problems they were facing and came up with solutions while reading my email. Well, one guy was cool, but the other guys were fags. I don't mind em not knowing, but don't be fags. Think you're all cool cuzz you got your administrative rights eh? Well, I'm not over 30 and working in a school computer lab.
