I hate Antec

I've used the Antec 900 since ~2007. Never had any of the problems you described. Still use two of them. A friend and a relative have two more. They're all great (if you can stand the gaudiness and don't mind a bit of modding to keep things tidy).

are you telling me that your headphone jack doesn't have a buzzing noise?

what about all these people here

looks pretty common to me.

regardless, if yours work fine, then it only reinforces my assertions that they have shoddy products, terrible quality control.

you can bet my next case won't be antec, i got burned once, f them.

RMA'd a barebones PC to Foxconn. They received it 2 weeks ago, still waiting on any word that the replacement shipped. Now that's bad RMA service.

Gigabyte took my video card back and then sent me the same card with the same problem (bad fan) even after telling them which fan was not working and leaving a note in the box as a reminder to whichever tech worked it

Yeah RMAs can be hell to deal with no mater what company you are dealing with. It's real hit or miss.

Slick clean, stylish, understated designs using good materials are what I like. Lian Li builds quite a few cases that fit this aesthetic.

I can see some of that. But I didn't see most lian li cases as being stylish. Just plain. But that's my opinion and it is a good thing we aren't communists, eh?

I'll check when my sister is done watching a movie on that PC. Friends use headphones all the time on it and never complained. I've use headphones briefly and never noticed it.

The other 900 case was recently bashed during transport.

In my experience the onboard sound is the source of buzzy headphone jacks, not the jack itself. Plug directly into the jack on the back of the computer and I'll bet you'll still hear the noise.
