In before Mayne realizes that all of his weed is suddenly legal today.

Was walking back from the beer store today and a lady stopped me and asked "you happy about the legalisation?" I said "I love it" she then proceeded to tell me she she doesn't like it at all. I asked her why ..she says "I don't like weed, but I sell it" I then laughed in her face. Such a random convo....it made me chuckle.

I don't see what the big deal is. people still have to buy pot unless they grow it like me.
People still buy black market weed in Colorado, FWIW. But I imagine the convenience of just going to a retail location can often outweigh the sometimes unreliable method of going through a dealer.

It's pretty much legal 10 feet from me today. It was ...pretty much legal all the years I was living in CA, now it is even "more legal" after I moved away from there. It is still nothing like Canada, but for the most part, the reality on the ground is that in the US, it has been more or less tolerated to the point of legality. You can walk into one of several stores in a handful of states and buy it, legally, walk out and no po-po beats you up, unlike what our untraveled friend, ecureuil rogue, seems to want to believe from "some stuff he read."

...point being, all of that being true, and being true in these places that I have lived and still live, I can still only bring myself to buy it from a friend of a friend, only when speaking some sort of code over the phone, ...because that's the way I like it, lol. There is just something completely classless about walking into a store and buying the bud. I want my secret, "woke" club to remain that way--not be overtaken by some hipsters trying to "educate" me on the proper dosing of some THC gummy oil, considering how I was taking bong hits back when they were learning that the cow says "mmooooooo!"

That being said, it should be completely, fully, totally legal in the US.

Funny with alcohol and marihuana. The only substances when legalized that will not cause any trouble, generally speaking. When you used it a few times but you need to be sharp the next day, you learn to plan for an alcohol or cannabis in abundance evening while making sure you have nothing to do the next day. So a hangover is not an issue then.

Of course, i am not speaking about people misbehaving, but responsible recreative users.

Aww, poor little thing lose her revenue stream because she, nor her customers, are at risk of being arrested and/or fined any more. The absolute HORROR!

Was it already cheaper or did they lower their prices to make it cheaper?
