I dont really get insominia, but I do get irritated by the often extreme variations in temp between night and day. Around this time of year the day is like 90-92 and night is around 50-60. Its bullcrap.
You can force yourself to sleep (hammer to head, sleeping pills, alcohol), or you can alter the ambient temperature to what you like (get an air-conditioner).
welcome to my world.. i have been having a dry cough each time i put my head down.. i probably slept like 3-5 hrs in teh last 3 days..
grrr!!!!!! and no cough syrup works, i have to be awake for me to not cough, or otherwise its a ruccernt dry cough from my throat.. not sure why it only does it when i lie down (after about 10 minutes of sleep i wake up coughing)
I still dont understand how this could affect someone, if its too cold outside then you should turn the heater on, if its to hot then turn on the AC. The conditions inside buildings (where you spend 95% of your life) are constant, the outside should not affect you unless you are actually outside.
Guess I have been making up for you. The past couple of nights I have been sleeping like a baby for 7-8 hours and still feel tired in the morning. It's been awesome!
also, personally I like the winter alot better than the summer. If you are cold you can add more clothes, if you are hot you cant jsut take more clothes off. I would love it if everyday was 50 degrees
Perhaps you're not getting used to the change of the upcoming fall weather. I sometimes wake up in the morning feeling cold, then I have to turn on the heater.
I do that going into summer or warm, bright weather. Then I sleep like crap until it rains and cools off again. AC keeps my house temp down, and my windows are almost blacked out, so that's not a factor. I just can't sleep when it's bright or warm out.

I love the cold temp. I can't sleep for shlt when its hot.
But I did have trouble waking up this morning. Not sure why, but it was the hardest it has been in probably 6 months to wake up. I did just start running and working out last week and I ran the furthest i've ever ran yesterday, could that be it?
