Good luck, I have similar, but have been able to control it from very young so it never really got too bad.

After surgery though the problem persists (though weaker), and I probably need another surgery, just haven't had the money or insurance to get it done.

Eyes are creepy. I remember the first time I assisted during an eye surgery for strabismus, which looked not unlike this:

Here's looking at you, kid

I had already seen brains, guts, shootings, stabbings, all sorts of stuff. But when the surgeon took a pair of forceps, grabbed the sclera and started moving the eyeball back and forth, I nearly passed out. I had to leave and go get some air or I would have hit the floor. Came back later and I was fine after that.

yeah man... eyes and nailbeds are the worst.

Well I am wearing glasses so I now have corrected vision in both eyes. I don't have any double vision and I seem to be seeing just fine, but for some reason I feel oddly unbalanced. This is really weird.

it takes a little time for your ocular muscles to figure out what's going on and for your brain to catch up.

Can't wear contacts yet - another week or two, but I am very happy so far 😀

That looks better. The eye still looks fucked up...red and glassy, but it's a sight better than it was.

How's the vision? Getting better? Has your brain made the adjustment yet?

Yeah it's still red, but more pink instead of blood-red. The brain is doing pretty well now..I have double vision up close without glasses, but with glasses I can get up to a few inches from my face with no problem. That strains the muscles a bit and hurts, so I am not doing it often. 😛

Overall, I think I'm doing very well and I'm happy 🙂

how did you get your camera to take that picture without a motion blur? i have the same camera and i can't do it. what are your settings?

much improved

if you pulled me over I would have died laughing when you popped your head in my window

Oddly enough I've only had 2 or 3 people (work-related) mention something, and they were all drunk off their asses...I guess everyone else thought it wouldn't be a good idea. 😛
