You were a "big fan" of his before House?

What, do you have posters of him in your room?
Do you have a shrine dedicated to him with fingernail and hair clippings bought from eBay?

What entitlement or credibility does it give you by saying that you were a fan before other people were fans?

Because most House fans didn't see a kid's mouse movie, you are more of a fan?

A Bit of Fry and Laurie is pretty good. There's a bunch of the skits on Youtube and it's available on DVD now as well.

What does it matter to you? You need to calm down dude. It's not like Hugh Laurie hasn't been around. I recall seeing him in a few other things before House that were not Stuart Little - Peter's Friends, Flight of the Phoenix, Sense and Sensibility, Cousin Bette and the "Friends" episode. While I wouldn't say that any of these appearances made me a "big fan", it's not unreasonable to assume that maybe it makes someone else one. Especially one who watches a lot of English cinema & TV. Regardless, he's a very talented, versatile actor. Unfortunately, the Saturday Night Live featuring him kind of sucked. That might be more a function of SNL than him though. He also gives some of the best awards show acceptance speeches. There was one from a couple of years ago where he said he couldn't possibly thank everyone in the time he had and he decided to randomly pull names out of his pocket of who to thank. Anyone have a clip?

Pretty much sums it up for me. Like the guy, hate the show, HATE the character.

I could tell, because he looks British :Q. Although, to kind of go off onto a House tangent, I hope they don't keep going into the whole "philosphical House" like they did this past Tuesday. They usually throw in some elements of that, but there's always a case to work on (and we all know, it's NOT LUPUS!) I do enjoy a good philosophical discussion every once in awhile, but I don't watch House for philosophical stimulation.
