I had my McRib cherry popped yesterday.

the sauce some of you are raving about is bozo, bargain-basement bad.

you've obviously never had bargain-basement bbq sauce.

i was out of bbq sauce the other day, and the closest place was the Dollar Store...

the bbq sauce was PINK.

not red.
not burgandy.
not bbq sauce color.

PINK.

but... i was like what the hell...

bought it... it was utterly horrible.

i woulda killed for some McD's BBQ sauce packets.

I think some of you are getting confused. I don't think anyone is comparing a McRib to a REAL BBQ or anything. Nobody is that dumb. Obviously there is a difference. I love the McRib.... for what it is and what it is supposed to be. It's not like I'm eating it and thinking "Oh man... this is some GOOD down-home-back-country-BBQ pork!!!... this sauce is 2nd to none!"

Had one a couple of weeks ago for the first time in about 2 years. Thing tasted like dog shit. Back when they were good the BBQ sauce would be kept in a heated container and the rib portions allowed to soak in it after being cooked until removed to be placed on a bun. Now the sauce tastd as good as if I had gone to the store and grabbed a bottle off the shelf and poured it all over the meat. Totally lost the character of the sandwhich.

Greasy dog vomit on a bun?

Try ordering a Big and Tasty (or whatever their equivalent of those are these days) with the sauce on it. I worked at McDonald's, and you can make some pretty good food by combining ingredients.

I enjoy one occasionally (& we only get them here very occasionally), but i'm not quite the fan of them like people on ATOT seem to be.
