I had CLLSr over to the shop today......

I met CLL Sr. last year in Mason City/Clear Lake, IA. That must be one impressive rack to make him drool. What kind of CPU horsepower do you have in the picture?
 
That's what it is Jay, an Entertainment center. It seems to have been entertaining CLL Sr. 😀

Kilowatt keeps saying that he's going to turn it into a Beowulf cluster.../me wonders when he'll get it done. Would love to see that screen shot that says "crunchers A B C D E F G & F have started"

If I only had more money... My computer room, I mean 2nd bedroom, has only 4 PC's in it. I could fit a lot more in there if I could afford them.

I can't believe I saw hard drives in some of those racks...
I sorta figured the guy who gave us KLinux would have no use for such things.

You sure you didn't mistake the floppies hanging on the side for HDDs?

There is a CD-Rom still sitting in it I haven't pulled out yet.
I was going to use one of the Rack boards as the server (with a HDD), but have since changed my mind, and am going to use a separate Linux box for that purpose.

My rack has no HDDs, but my regular machines do.
 
Phooey is fooled by those floppies salvaged from old Compaq machines, so they don't have a front bezil.

That rack is 100% diskless, other than the Klinux boot floppy. /me has seen it in action. 😉
