Well -- I came home today from work and &^%$#$% the wife returned and brought the kids....arggggggg

Since you didn't change the locks I say you bring home a girlfriend and tell the wife she can either watch or listen from another room. Should get her mad enough to leave again and then you can change the locks. If your wife is the "go batshit crazy" type you might want to provide said girlfriend with pepper spray and a stun gun, you really don't want to get involved in anything physical but if she is the aggressor then you get to call the cops and make a report out on her. Potentially a double win since then you will be able to get a restraining order!
