You might want to repost your question from http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=38&threadid=349116 here. I feel sorry if the mods are picking on you, there is a new one I think that is being a bit rough (lots of locks especially, I dont think i'd ever seen so many locked threads in forum issues before). In my opinion he should have moved your thread here, to forum issues, instead of locking it.

In OT you can talk about issues and stuff in general as long as there is no inappropriate content. Also say you post a thread called "la la la" and the msg says I'm bored. Those types of threads are nef threads and the mods don't tolerate that type of thing. Threads with issues and concerns and valid arguments are acceptable. Go there and you can see what kinds of threads get locked/aren't tolerated and what kinds have good discussions going.

i think that new mod goto one of my threads... locked it for "Bumping your thread every hour is inconsiderate and excessive." which i would agree with, but the fact that no one post's in my threads, just pm's me, creates a slight problem if i don't bump it, now doesn't it...
