So its like the Lebron burger, except it doesnt run away after it gets served?

Kobe burgers are tasty.

OCguy has lots of experience eating out Kobe 😀

Are you sure it was Kobe beef and not "kobe-style" beef (i.e. Wagyu raised domestically instead of imported from Hyogo)? The former is rather rare and likely more expensive than $14 for a patty. I'm not sure I've ever even seen true Kobe. I had some beef imported from Japan at Alinea but I'm not sure even that was technically Kobe - but it may have been given that this is Alinea we're talking about.

$14 for an actual Kobe burger would be a great deal, IMO.

No, it rapes your intestines and then gives you a big diamond ring. 😀

This is what I came in the thread expecting to see! Way to go ATOT!

Max Burger, it's part of the small "Max" chain in Connecticut:

I went with a buddy, who got soup. I brought home a regular burger for my wife and she didn't like it. So if you ever are in the area, snag a Kobe burger, some sweet potato fries, and their sorbet is nothing short of amazing 😀

Heh... now I wanna know how this burger compares to the Kobe burger that Maggie McFly's sells in Southbury and Middlebury.

Maggie's Kobe burger is a buck cheaper, but something sells me that Max's burger is gonna be a bit more upscale.

No doubt it's the domestic Kobe. It's illegal to export real Kobe beef from Japan, though there is a gray market where you can get it if you want to dish out a small fortune. I've had real Kobe beef as well as the domestic stuf. To tell you the truth, just about anyone would be hard pressed to tell the least bit of difference.

There is no Kobe Bryant burger, just a hot dog. It's plain old tubesteak between two hotel buns.
