Hey dude, 104 is pretty high, I once had a fever of 104 and felt crazy..like one hour i would be very very cold, the next hour i would feel very hot. I went to my general doctor and stupidly told him i had a fever and my neck kind of hurt...he though i could have meningitis and sent me to the ER, they started running blood tests, and did a spinal tap(very painful)..to make sure i did not have meningitis. After that the first thing they did was give me an overdose of tylenol at least 1000-1500 mg, and an IV, man an IV really makes you feel calm and cool, I loved it!

I've had 105F once, it was propably like 10 years ago.. I remember (and I was told later) that I was hallucinating, talking crazy and basically just going nuts. Only thing I remember talking about was huge piles of coins falling on me, I was panicing and trying to run.. I couldn't tell dream from reality, it was so crazy.

i understand that 106 and up it's time to get your butt to the hospital; anything less you can usually deal with on your own but check your temp regularly.

Since your temperature has dropped, I think you'll be fine. At that temperature, I doubt any brain damage had occured. The treshold is around 106-107 IIRC.

I had a fever of 106 when I was a baby. Dunno what the heck happened, but it probably explains why I am the way I am today. 😀

My great-aunt fed me a T-spoon of whiskey because of it (and her crazy southern-cures), and my mom went freakin nuts.

So, yes, it's possible. I read in my health class in HS that temps that high can make you deaf though 🙁

nik (maybe that's why I'm a drummer 😀)

IIRC from my biology classes, 106-107 is about where things start getting effed up.

I've had around 104 a few times, I hallucinate when I get a high fever.

It's a lot of fun, actually. I'll be dreaming, but I'm awake & I know I'm dreaming. But I get the most vivid, incredibly realistic dreams when I have a high fever. When I start seeing things I know it's time to take more Tylenol.

I once got a severe sinus fever. I walked like zombie to the school clinic. The purty doctor said, "you look good for a person with 103 temperature."

My neighbor's kid got a fever so bad that the kid became retarded!

Keep your temperature under control, you really don't want to wake up senile.

When I was like 4 I had a temp of 107. They took me to the hospital and literally put me in a crib full of ice........

Maybe thats why I like snow! Errrr that was gay. Sorry.
