I had a dream

I'll type as much detail as I can remember (I woke up 30 minutes ago from it) and I'll mark the non-sensical parts with a . Keep in mind I love my car, but this is the first time I've ever dreamed about it...

So I'm back at my college up in Buffalo, with all my old friends around again. I take about 10 minutes to park the car in the dorm lots... wandering from one area of the lot to another section of the lot to try and get closer to my final destination which is a particular field in front of the dorms. I'm not dreaming up the dorms to scale, I think some buildings are even made up, but whatever... I finally park the car in front of someone's apt. and don't look back.

I reach my destination, lay down for a picnic or some show on the grass. A short while later, I find myself in the dorms somewhere doing something. Then a fire alarm rings out, everyone is supposed to get out. Instead, I climb up a floor via staircase, to go get my keys for my car. I then secretly make my way out of the dorms via an unconventional exit. I make my way back out to the grass where I was and I see my old buddies, and I ask one of them to drive me to where I parked my car. I instruct him on how to get there in the lot, and he drops me off. But wait, it's not the one. I'm nowhere near the apt. I parked in front of but that's not even where I told him to drop me off. He leaves. I find the apt. and my car is gone. WTF ? I'm totally confused as to what's going on. I wander about and see a similar car, except the details like the rear antenna and the brush/grille guard and foglights are missing but it looks like my car otherwise.

I walk over to it... the keyless entry works. I'm in. But clearly someone fuct with it. At this point I'm just glad it's not stolen and gone forever. I climb in and close the door. Wait, it's not closed all the way. The door near the bottom corner is bent in such a way that there's a space and a huge gap so as to create wind noise as I'm driving, but whatever, I continue on my way out of the lot.

As I'm driving out of a lot, I witness a cop on his megaphone pulling someone over - a speeding gray minivan.

Then I see a store of some sort, still within the same dorm lots. I walk up to them and ask if they have surveillance cameras. They do. They play it back and I can see myself wandering about looking for that good spot at the very beginning. But then that part of my dream cuts off...

I find myself back at the apt. space... and some chick is there. I think I recognize her from Buffalo, actually, but I don't actually know her. I get talking to her about why my car was missing from that spot. She considers that her bf may have taken it out for errands and shopping. Andy is his name. I even had a picture of his face come up in my dream. (At this point, I swear Andy is the dude who used to be an ATOT member - LOLyourface)

Then I remember that this could all be a dream and I force myself to wake up - I do. WTF - I can do that ? I'm glad to see the morning is here and my car is still out on my driveway untouched.

---> This has been another WTF dream by rh71. My mind is all kinds of fuct up. Anyway, let's hear yours, even if it's in less detail (sorry about that).

lol, classic dreamage. I've been having some weird ones too. I especially like the dreams that place me in great peril and life-ending depression, only to wake up and realize it was a dream. I HATE the ones that have me being rich and successful and extremely lucky, only to wake up and realize I'm still a loser.

I guess I should add that I had some alcohol minutes before I went to bed... only because I was sick of iced tea. I knew the alcohol would also help me fall asleep faster. But it was half a bottle @ 10%.

11AM, my God... I just fell asleep on the couch for an hour or so and had another WTF dream. I was vacationing with parents in Mexico (I think)... and as we're about to leave to come back home, my mom remembered she left her pills (for her stomach) out in the open and we went back to get it... soon as we got there she was promptly arrested. Supposedly we're not allowed to have pills there otherwise they think it's drugs. I carry a stash of migraine pills with me everywhere so naturally I tossed my bag aside hoping nobody would see it. Eventually I was able to flush all my pills before they did a room-by-room search. After she was questioned and about to be set free, I came in, stupidly carrying her pills (I think I meant to bring in something else) and thought I was going to be arrested, but they recognized it was the same bottle and let us go.

Damn that alcohol is killing me.

It makes perfect sense. You're still straight, but you desperately want to make love to Dolph Lundgren. I know it sounds strange, but the grey minivan was really the clincher.

I swear I even saw the aftermarket rims on that minivan. I even remember saying to myself... WhoTF would drive that, and around campus...

Perfect sense indeed...

Seconded.
Cliffs: my mind thinks it's funny to fill in the blanks with random sh!t during a dream. But who's doesn't ? :D

You can't cliff note all that stuff - it would lose its purpose.

I have some pretty weird dreams once in a while. It usually involves people in white suites coming after me.

Awesome. Dreams are pretty great.

I had a fcked up on last night too.

I was at a beach with a few friends. We were relaxing on this rock quarry / overhang / forest edge. But it was the beach, saltwater etc.

Anyways we're leaving and a friend starts throwing back these huge crabs. I'm talking bodies like the size of a bowl, with huge and extremely powerfull legs. So he's throwing them back into the ocean and I go to get up and get out of the way because I didn't want him undertossing one on me.

Sure enough as I'm getting up one crab lands short right next to me and starts after me extremely quickly. I grab it but I have to hold it funny so it doesn't get my hands. The thing was so frickin powerfull. It had the strength of probably a 2 year old labrador. Extremely strong for a crab.

It gets three claws on my leg and I freak out and rip it off me and it's legs come off. So I've got these three huge legs attached to my jeans, and they were like squirming, and the crab was freakin out. So I feel all bad for this disgusting thing and I throw it back into the ocean and shake it's huge legs off me.

When I look up my dogs in front of me, and instead of the crab, I somehow crushed my dogs two front legs. They weren't hurting him they just kind of fell off. I knew he had to go somewhere for some reason and I was pretty upset that he had to leave by himself, and I've put him at this HUGE disadvantage.

He had no idea how to operate with just his two back legs and was just kind of trying to stand up without his front legs.

Then I woke up because an ant was crawling across my chest.

-------------

Anyways, I think it has to do with two things.

I killed a bird two days ago, it hit my windshield when I was driving and it was flopping all around the road and there was another bird standing on the side of the road watching this. So I turned around and ran it over to put it out of it's misery.

Then as I drove off I saw the other bird walk out into the road and stand over its once alive buddy. Just stand there next to it looking at it.

Then I drove by the same spot and there were now two dead birds next to eachother. The one I killed and it's friend I think.

Also, my dogs like 17 years old and in great physical shape, he can still outrun me and I'm pretty quick. Anyways, he's going blind from glaucoma and one eye is starting to wander. So he looks funny, alot different and it's pretty unnerving considering I grew up with him. He looks at me with these sad ass eyes and it sucks everytime. We have no money to help him so we might have to put him down, even though he's in great physical condition.

OT, I think it's a psychologically "refreshing" thing to write down your dreams.

Yes, you can force yourself to wake up. I've gotten so bored with my dreams that I now have a litmus test for them. Something good happening? Ok, it's a dream, time to wake up.

Works about 95% of the time, but I've gotten some weird looks before.
