Looks like I need a new MB and CPU.....

I have a E3400 OC from 2.166 t 3.000ghz.
I went away for 10days and left the computer on, 3 of the 4 fans failed and she heated up.
Now I am having problems with USB ports losing and aquiring, also having problems with jerky motions and video spikes.
I have the side panel off and an extra fan I had laying around pulling the air out but it is not running cool enough. Core temps are running a bit warm for non clocking CPU, right around 57-60c.

So this is what I would like to do.

Replace the 3 failed fans in my case, it is a Antec 182, which 120mm fans should I look at buying?

the current MB is a Asus P5N, I would like to replace it with another Asus board but I have little knowledge of what to get so I could use your help here?

I do want to upgrade the CPU to a 8400, 8500 or 8600 so please add your coments also?

Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS is the current video card, I am unsure if the card needs to be replaced at this time but i welcome your suggestions on a replacement?

I do a little gaming and flight simulating so I thought I better say it.

That is quite the misfortune. I can't imagine how 3 fans could fail in the space of 10 days. Are you sure your PSU isn't failing? Or maybe your house got hit by lightning and a power surge hit the PC ?

i would have to agree, in the amount of pc's i have had in 10-15 yrs i doubt i even have had 3 120's fail on me in that time, much less in a short amount of time.

I had been wondering why things had been getting warm lately.
I noticed 1 of the 3 fans had stopped 3 weeks ago and I checked the wiring to it and that looked good. I turned the system off and restarted, the fan worked. I kept checking the fan and it would be on then off, when it was off you could spin it with a finger and it would slowly start up and run for more.
I was going to replace when I returned home but it was too late, that one is completely dead, the second fan is just as dead and the third is just like the first one when I first caught it, will spin then die then spin again.
I checked the PS and everything seems good, the current is steady and strong so I can only asume the fans failed because of use. My system has been on 24hrs a day for just over 2 yrs, maybe that is the life span of the fans.....

One more thing, the room temp is quite high because of the equipment I have in here and being in Arizone makes it even higher. I asked my wife about lightning and she said none happened. I keep the A/C on cold and the room is usually around 82-92deg becuse of the 5 computers and other electronics running day and night. She also told me that she turned the A/C from 72 to 80deg while I was gone because she was too cold, when you factor the extra +8deg the temp was my room temp could have climbed up to 98deg.

Not a good day.......

I second what previous posters says, the chance 3 120mm die simultaneously is quite slim, probability wise. I think the only thing I can think of might just be your PSU dying since it feeds power to all 3 fans that might cause them to fail simultaneously.

well I just called Antec and told them what had happened and they feel that the fans ran their course and died. If all three had died at once I would also believe it was the PS but the first dies 3 weeks ago and the second one in the last few days and the third one has died and come back to life as they say. She is working at a slow pace but working, since my first post I tore into another box with an extra fan and installed it to the power line off the PS adt is running like a champ.
Anyways, Antec is replacing all 3 fans under warranty for me, this is good news to me.
I guess when the the MB and other parts I orderd get here and I put it all together I may start shuting down the computer every night.
