I can't take any part of your rant seriously because there is no Army base in Yuma. It is a Marine Corps. Air Station.

Get it right next time.

You're f&cking kidding me, right? Do I have to shove your own foot directly into your mouth, or would you rather do it yourself?

No, I think I'll do it for you: www.yuma.ARMY.mil.

Suck on this:

Marine Corps. Air Station, Yuma AZ

You were still wrong regardless. Just suck it up like a man.

Are you referring to me or Triumph?

There is no Army base in Yuma. There IS a Marine Corps. Air Station in Yuma.

I'm refering to you. Triumph said that the Army base is NEARBY Yuma, not in it. But does it matter, just say you're wrong and walk away. No one will remember this tread tomorrow.

That's the address of the Army base in Yuma. Now you can suck it up, SukkyPuppy

I proved my case. There is a Marine Corps. Air Station IN the City of Yuma. There is an Army base 24 miles North of Yuma.

You were wrong. Admit it.

you're arguing technicalities that aren't even germane to the original post. sounds like a lawyer.

Okay, okay. There is an Army base nearby, 24 miles away.

My firsthand experiences in Yuma were dealing with the Marine Air Base which is in Yuma.

P.S. There may be an Army office IN Yuma, but there is not an Army BASE in Yuma.

still you technically are wrong in saying:

"can't take any part of your rant seriously because there is no Army base in Yuma. It is a Marine Corps. Air Station.

because his original post was " Yuma is a small town, mostly populated by farms, and hotels for visitors to the nearby Army installation"

and whether there exists a marine corps installation or not is irrelevant

OMG, i can't believe this. No one said there is an Army Base IN Yuma, admit you are wrong and move on.
Yuma is a small town, mostly populated by farms, and hotels for visitors to the nearby Army installation.
Suck it up. 😉

but you were mistreated. I definately wouldn't go back there.

Heh, if you've ever worked retail, yeah, you'll know that the customers aren't ALWAYS right. But in this case, I surely wasn't wrong!

This reminds me of back in my fast food days.

We used to give out side order of sauces for free to regular customers, then mananagment one day decides that we have to charge them .50 cents per side order of sauce.

Well the regulars were not very thrilled about that & many stopped coming afterwards.
So in the end what did the restaurant get? A few dollars extra for sauces; but a loss of a $8 on average per customer per day, and most of these regulars came at least 3 days a week.

Kinda missed the BIG PICTURE

Yep, I've seen owners do that cheap crap before. Really stupid. If sauce packets or extra toppings are costing you too much money (believe me, these things can really add up), you simply do a very small price increase accross the board to cover them AND you revisit the correct formulas and default numbers of packets to handout with your employees. Remind the,m to stick with the default, but gladly give people more when they ask for it.

You sir are just about the dumbest ass I have yet seen on this forum. You think you are all big and bad because you actually got the hell away from your computer long enough to do something in Yuma. God, you are pathetic aren't you?

On to the main point of this thread, the best thing you can do is spread the word.

Your friend was right, it was JUST two bucks.

That's why the manager should have just let it go. Who knows how much business he has lost on 2 bux

Triumph

A 'government worker' complaining about rudeness is like Saddam complaining about sand. I'd bet you are a contractor?

I agree with you btw, but I've never met more rude people than those employed by government at all levels.

I think Triumph & HappyPuppy should meet @ Bubbas to resolve their differences. 😉

We have a Bubba's BBQ in Northern Virginia (Falls Church, actually.) I think the place is not very good. When they cook the pork, they don't use any BBQ sauce, but leave you to put the sauce on the pork from 4 different varieties that are on each table. Personally, I'd prefer that they use some form of BBQ sauce when cooking the pork so that the meat would be more flavorful.

Some cooks/managers get insulted when you don't think their food is perfect. He didn't give you the other ribs to be nice, he was just being spiteful.

Yea now he knows you, next time something extra is going to be in your food... in fact, something extra might have been in those Ribs. :Q
