i guess Miami is.....

What happen to power football? It takes power to stuff power. I guess Nebraska should not be here. I am proud of my Canes. I am proud to be a graduate there too. During the reign of 1988 to 1992, half time score is usually 55 to nothing. Lucky for Nebraska it's only 34 to nothing. Go Canes, you are the true champion. Nebraska just learned about pain. Did you see all of those hits? It was lightnings.
Go Canes. The Canes should have been in it last year too. They would have destroy Oklahoma too and it would have been an easy win too.
 
And to think.... people actually thought Nebraska had a chance

The same people who thought BYu even belonged in the top 25....

the same people who know jack about college football.

And they did play the #2 team in the country. Our system is the BCS. Like it or not its better than what we had - and its our system for the next 5 seasons.

And, its really a pointless arguement - if you think Oregon could beat Miami then you belong grouped with the people above 🙂

They'll implement a 4 team playoff w/ the BCS in-tact in 5 years when the BCS contract is up - and make everyone happy. Including me , then we could see the Gators play the Canes - the real 2 best teams in the nation 🙂

A 4 team playoff would suck and just create more controversy; 8 teams isn't even enough. 16 teams would be ideal.

Well. Miami did not have that chance that Nebraska a few years ago b/c of disciplinary actions. However, we are talking about this year and not past years. Nebraska did not even make it last year so no point in saying past years.
I guess CornHuskers can always dream of the past. Total domination today is what counts. We are champions baby, eventhough I live in CA now.
Miami is still my team. We know how to tackle. Remember the knockout not too long ago? How about Vema? That guy is just tough dude.
Number one baby.
Again. And again. Oklohoma was lucky last year. They could have suffer the same fate as Nebraska today.

I'm optimisitic towards next year - when we return 9 starters on the nations best offense...including the best QB in the country and 3 of the best WRs in the country.

If our Defense can stop Miami, Tennesee, and FSU next year, we're national champs.

Canes rule.
Nebraska had no business in that game. Would have been a better game w/ Oregon. I would have loved to have sen the two birds duking it out on the field. 🙂

The experts were also all over Colorado's nuts saying they were the greatest thing ever after they beat Nebraska and Texas; that it would be a tragedy if Colorado didn't get in the national title game because they're the hottest team in college football despite having two losses. Oregon showed everyone who the other true title contender was.

As for Florida, they shouldn't even have been in the Orange bowl; another BCS team that couldn't even win their division let alone their conference. Tennessee should have been playing Maryland.

FSU was 11-1, Canes were 11-1. So maybe you think... well the Canes beat FSU so they should have gone.. BUT the team (Washington or some team I can't remember) that beat the Canes last season was also 11-1 so by your logic the Canes wouldn't have gone anyway.
