Yes, that is quite an interesting thread. Hmmm I remeber the night when cashman brought up the whole money thing. Amazing how that thread made me look like a money grubbing b!tch because certain details were left out. Oh-well. We have made it through quite a bit, despite our age, and I look forward to the rest of our lives together.

To address some concerns:
Yeah it shall be a long engagement. I have goals of becoming a CPA and I can't accomplish that without schooling. It shouldnt be too long though, I am already a sophomore in college. We are most definitely not taking the last step into marriage until we are both holding steady jobs and finished school. I would like to have a nice ceremony and it would be impossible to have while living on a college student's paycheck. The engagement is about saying we are committed to each other and we will get married when the time is right for us.

It was the past and on every relationship there is it's bumps. I know we are young but I have not made irresponsible choices in the past. Nor has Nicole. I think through every decision and my parents trust me. My father is extremely happy for me, because I am happy. So is my mom, but she still thinks I've grown up way too fast and she didn't want me moving out to go to college! 😛

My friends were surprised yet happy too. Most of them expected it, especially one of my closest friends. I'm not the type of person that sluts around and jumps from girl to girl, I don't think that way. Neither does Nicole, and the biggest part is we are happy. I never been happier than this in my life. I see what you are saying luvly but I want to prove everyone wrong. I want to show that we can last and get married. If we don't, then you were right; and I was wrong.


Thanks for the advice people. I do appreciate it, just be happy for me because I am. Life is too short to worry and be depressed. 🙂

Hey, thanks for the comment on my acne! :| 😛 You just got a pic of me right after I shaved, ugh I hate shaving. After a day of shaving it returns to normal skin tone, shaving just makes it realllllyyy red.

And we are waiting until we get out of college to get married.
