I got a similar message last night while I was at a bar . Mine says "ready for a new look? Watch the fat DISAPPEAR in less than a week! This new pillREALLY WORKS! Call (800) 4947185"

Now, if I was the type of person who has to go to bed early for an early class or work the next day I would have been pissed to get waken up by spam. I thought it was a fluke, but it looks like lots of people are getting it.

Go to www.sprintpcs.com and log in to your account, then go to "Text Messaging", select "Settings & Preferences" from the menu on the left. You can select which types of messages you want to be able to receive (web messages, email, "TAP" messages), or you can block specific phone numbers or email addresses (up to 20).

Cool, I added the yahoo.com and netzero.com domains to my block list.

Getting spam text msgs on my ATT gsm service...
They say that to stop the messages go to the ATT privacy page; but that just jacks you around.
Finally sent a scathing message about it thru their site--but haven't heard back yet.
