i've been hit with a lot of pucks, in a lot of unprotected places.

i've never seen a puck cause a gouge like that.

i'm gonna have to call shens on a hockey puck causing that. if anything, you would have swelled outwards and developed a deep purple/bluish welt.

sorry man. shens

I'm gonna have to agree with that.

Ouch, but i seriously don't see how you can get that kinda wound with a puck.

Do you guys use square pucks or something?

Damn, dude. I was just at the Hawks game tonight too (great game BTW).

This was from playing hockey..not watching. 🙂

I've been hit in the shins plenty of times, but never enough to do any damage. I'm going to have to start wearing shin guards.

Wait, you play hockey without shinguards? Roller or ice? That's absolutely insane. Shin guards are the most essential piece of padding next to a helmet.

It almost looks like he turned sideways and it winged him pretty good.

But yeah, usually you get a nice purple knot wherever it hits.

They probably used one of those orange plastic pucks with wheels. Those things can get going pretty fast if you hit them with a slap shot.

He's not hairier than an average white guy. I don't know what you guys are calling him a monkey/wookie for.

Wow, you are one hairy bastard..

Methinks you haven't hit puberty yet.

Yea, I'm 52 and still waiting... BTW I agree with previous post, this was not caused by a hockey puck, they have no sharp edges capable of that type of wound. Contusions, bruises, and even a possible broken bone, but I cannot see how a puck could cause that.
