I Got Selected As A USAF Pilot!!!

I just got off the phone with my recruiter and he just told me I'm selected as a USAF Pilot!!!!! I can't believe it.. the long ass application.. months of waiting.. all paid off.

I go to officer training school in july or sept. Man I can barely contain myself.

high GPA @ college.. lots extra circulars.. flying experience.. private pilot license.. stellar recommendations.. good vision and overall health.. high AFOTQ test scores.. the whole person concept.

It's easier to get in with ROTC. You just have to have a good recommendation from your commander.

can you do ROTC while you are enlisted? That would be easier than OCS... i assume you are going navy/army?

Where did you get your license? I soloed south of Atlanta at Falcon Field in Peachtree City.

Are you ROTC at GA Tech?

i'm army national guard. I can opt to go OCS anytime during my contract (and i presume go full time active/extend my contract) after i get my schooling out of the way. Truth be told, i know nothing about ROTC.

I was in AFROTC for 4 years... I commissioned on May 8 and went on active duty June 6.
