I got rejected from Northwestern this morning

I got the letter yesterday...I feel like crap, it was my first choice school, and I figured that I was a sure in. Well, I guess I've got to depend on my other choices, already in at Urbana Champaign, applied to Duke, George Washington, Denison, and Brown.

Well, here's to failure.🙁
 
Northwestern was a 'sure' school for you? Damn, your standards are high. Mine was Michigan State. I ended up at the University of Michigan.

Man you sound like a huge tool. Lighten up, it really doesn't matter all that much where you get your undergrad anyway.

Yeah, we only beat Ohio State and Purdue this year and except for either a bad loss to Hawaii or bad field goal kicking against TCU, we would have went to a bowl game. Oh, and we finished 4th in an amazing conference, finishing ahead of such teams as Ohio State, Michigan State, Purdue and Minnesota.
 
Too much emotion and self recrimination in this thread. Get a life. College is a bad joke perpetrated on the masses by the truly elite.
 
don't worry northwestern sucks! i'm graduating this year and I can't wait to leave, the only saving grace is we are a consulting and ibanking magnet since they all come to recruit at kellog too. I got my consulting job and i'm going back to cali, NEVER COMING BACK, except maybe for an MBA

dude, urbana-champaign and the other schools you listed are still very good. what matters is networking through college, not how hard/good the college itself is :beer:
 
o ya and if you go to UIUC or Duke ppl will acutally know what school you are talking about, I have to mention kellogg and then they have an idea where i go (unless they are from the midwest, cuz according to playboy we're the Harvard of the midwest, ahahah)

obviously you didnt go to UT...its not too hard....he got rejected and he shouldnt worry about it) so he still needs to find a school to go to...just apply to UT before its to late, hopefully get in and go there
