Also, I forgot to say something. I did slow down a lot. I was going about 50 and slowed to about 25 before passing the stop sign. The cop stated I made no attempt to even slow down, which wasnt true.

you MORE than coasted through a stop sign. Hell, there aren't too many yield intersections I'd go through at 25 unless I was driving on open farmland.

Yield signs are often not yellow.
