Anything that will help to take the "heat" away will provide relief. Suck up the shrinkage and take a nice cool shower. I recommend starting at a level of cool water that you can handle and when you get used to it, keep cranking it down colder and colder and just stand in there. Don't let your girlfriend see you when you get out or she will laugh at your extremely small package (if she's not used to it being small already ;)). After that, take a towel or wash cloth rinsed in cool water and apply it to the affected areas and just lay down and take it easy. Lay under or in the path of a good fan if possible for additional relief.

Go ahead and try the baby oil thing too, although my medical training has always told me that oil + burned skin don't go well together. Not saying you shouldn't just saying that training has told me otherwise. I do recommend liberal amounts of aloe vera though and a fan blowing on it after it's been applied. aloe + fan > baby oil

The thing about the baby oil - aside from I'm kinky and like the smell and feeling slippery all over - is that it locks in moisture and keeps the skin from peeling. It's not that it soothes or relieves burning (any more than any other treatment), but that it prevents any additional damage, and as a major bonus, generally turns your burn into a nice tan instead of having it all flake off.
