I got my first shipment of Outhouse Coffee

This thread makes me laugh. When I was a kid percolators where the way everyone made coffee, we had one of those clear glass Pyrex percolators that now sell for the ridiculous price of $150.00 plus. There is no way I would go back to boiling my coffee endlessly. French press I would consider, I used Melita "pour over" pots back when I didn't have money to waste on a coffee maker but my current Krups Grind and Brew makes a great pot of coffee.

I just can't get the same cup of coffee from a drip brew that I can from my french press. It takes all of 5 minutes to make a pot. I workout in the morning and on my way in I'll throw a pot of water on the stove on low. Go shower and get dressed. Come downstairs and the water is ready. Add coffee, add hot water, stir. Flip the sand timer and start making breakfast. When it's time, go ahead and press and pour. I toss the grinds in my flower beds for mulch.

I love perc coffee. My old electric perc went up, and I got a couple more from the thrift shop. Problem is they get hot, but not hot enough. I tested it in store, but there was still a problem. Been meaning to open one to see if I can fix it. New percs aren't reliable(Chinese) from what I've read.

I have a drip machine, but might look into a French press at some point. I think I'm stepping into hipster territory at that point though. Need to let my hair grow so I can do a man bun.
