If that's one of those super caffeinated coffees like Deathwish, I'm not really a fan. I prefer to not have caffeine withdrawal from my coffee. Give me a good single origin coffee anyday - even just started roasting my own beans.

Also that name doesn't conjure good imagery. :p

The OutHouse coffee is great. I'm speaking from the perspective of drinking instant coffee my whole life. I got to figure out how to drink real coffee now.

It's so good.

I recently got myself a grinder and started drinking real coffee, I'm officially addicted to coffee now. I used to only have the occasional timmy's or keurig coffee at work but now even on days off I make coffee at home. Might give this one a try.

I have a small French press for making one cup of coffee. It's handy for that.
I've got waaay more French presses than is sensible. I see them at thrift shops, and get one just cause it's a little different. I have three different sizes between single and ten cup, and in a couple different materials :^D

They're my favorite way of making coffee when I'm going for flavor, but I usually use my bunn for quantity.

I have a drip machine, but might look into a French press at some point. I think I'm stepping into hipster territory at that point though. :p Need to let my hair grow so I can do a man bun.

Embrace it. :D Roasting some Brazil Adrano right now.

Yeah, I think I have 3 presses around as well. I need a large 10 cup one, though.

Many of the other manual methods also have strong selling points, but the French press is an easy to use and clean way of brewing both hot coffee and cold brew. But I also have a standard drip machine for filtered coffee, as it's definitely the easiest way especially for guests.

Nothing hipster about a french press.
1) Boil water
2) Add coffee to press
3) Add water
4) Wait 4 minutes
5) Press. Enjoy.

That's not hipster. It's just an incredibly low tech way to make a really good cup of coffee.

French press is way too mainstream to be hipster. Pour-over is where it at... but that's reaching critical mass too.
