bonuses dont exist at my company unless you are already and executive level where virtually no one is. fvck xmas fvck bonuses

Same here. Although my bonus is typically $50-$75. But of course, I don't expect a bonus like most people seem to here, and I treat it exactly like it's called, a bonus. I'm more than thrilled to get anything extra.

Well, if it make you feel any better. My bonus is going straight to the minivan I purchased for my wife back in August. 😀 It will just about pay it off.
 
What type of places do you work to get bonuses? I work for a $28 million company with ~75 employees. Last year we got $150 bonuses. Probably about the same this year.

😀 thanks i do feel better, i also like the fact i get another ( yr end bonus ) in February. this one always goes to christmas so im used to giving it to the wife...the other one is a different story 😉
 
I wouldn't mind getting a bonus. I wouldn't even mind just getting a few paid days off for Christmas. As it is, our company is giving no time off for Christmas or New Years this year since they are on Sundays. In a way I'm glad though, because I don't get paid for time off since I'm a contractor.

I work for a general contractor. I got a $7k bonus on a job that did quite well. We're small.

I work for a general contractor. I got a $7k bonus on a job that did quite well. We're small.

I work for a growing company that handles the financial relationships between banks and car dealerships. We're owned by another company that is in Forbes' Top 20 places to work.
