Well after inspecting the case a bit, it seems like they are now using the same chassis for the 830 and 1030 with only a change in the faceplates and drive positioning. It must be easier for them to just crank out one style and just use different faces, etc. I thought I'd be making a sacrifice by choosing this over the 1030...I guess not. It's nice to have a sturdy case for once, and the door latch is even cooler than my Dell's. Still, it isn't as solid as the cases you would get back in the 286/386 days...those things were built like tanks!
