I got my 24 inch monitor

I'm using a 37" TV as a monitor and a 24" side monitor. Do I win?

Who knows? My 52" KDL-52XBR2 makes a HORRIBLE computer monitor. Your eyes would never forgive you if you try to read text on a web page.

I think most TVs make horrible computer monitors.

On windows? You can control text size. It's somewhere in the personalization or accessibility settings.

...and it's just a matter of time before you encounter text that is cut-off because you resized it.

Windows really needs to handle DPI scaling properly so you can double it in a way that's transparent to the application. iOS did it right. Legacy apps benefitted from "Retina" displays for text and many UI elements.

My Samsung TV actually works quite well after adjusting some settings (defaults sucked). 46" of computer display lol, use it every day :awe:

Looks at monitor in sig..

Feels inferior...

There, are you happy?

J/K. I am probably going to wait until a 37" 4k monitor is affordable before I bother upgrading. My wife has a 27" touchscreen monitor... its nice but not enough of a physical upgrade to bother with or spend money on. Other priorities and when I do upgrade, I want it to be something that'll really make me crap my britches. More fun that way. 🙂

Well, I did live with a 19 in for like 6 years so it was a big step up.

I hear that 32 inch IPS monitors (with 4k resolution) are on the market for 3k each
