I got mugged in Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Where exactly did this happen? cross streets and stuff.

I grew up in rancho, it's supposed to be one of the safest cities given the size, but sucks that this sh*t still happens.

 
Dont feel too bad, when I got mugged many years ago, they took my bag of chips, my can of soda, my watch and my nickle (change I had from the store)!!!!!!!!!

Now I carry a 9mm so if anyone wants to fvck with me now, come on! LOL
 
Isn't diversification great! This is a perfect example of why I live where I do. Call me a racist if you like, that is fine, but I choose to live in an affluent neighborhood that is almost exclusively white people and there are no muggings in this area. I can drive into town and probably find a place to get attacked but I am smart enough to stay out of those areas. It is all about exposure.

Glad you got out okay and I've been Rancho Cucamonga. Pretty tamed place compared to others parts of S. Cali.

For those saying "if he knew the guy's gun was fake, he should ...<insert keyboard warrior comment", is risking your life for a burrito, dvds, etc worth it? Esp an AM/PM burrito.

You should of just gone to Tace Bell

 
You know, I did almost the exact same thing (rent some dvds, have an expensive cell phone) but in San Marino (arguably the most ghetto area in North America) and I didn't get mugged!

they took our burrito, the 3 dvd's, and his $10 with his brand new cellphone worth 357 about 500 retail ( sony ericson some new one not out in us yet ) than they got in the car as they got in we saw that it was the same guys that we saw getting off the freeway. I tried to read the license plate trying not to make it obvious it was too dark i could not see the letters all i saw was some read and somthing blue on the license plate. I did however get a good description of the car. As they drove off john was pisssed and threw his drink in the air (I wasnt quiet as mad as i just lost 3 dvd's)

We walked back down to my house and called the cops gave them a description than john called cingular to get his cellphone turned off but there system was down and was going to be up and than be shut off. A cop came to my door and we told him the discription and so on. Later on that night john's mom called john back saying that they called his house and wanted to trade the cellphone for 300 + weed she immeditaly hung up the phone and we called the police officer back with info.

The police came back and got new info john's mom came back picked up john told officer what happened. that is all i know as of now john said he saw his life flash before his eyes I on the other hand have seen guns such and wasnt as scared as i play airsoft and hunt plus the some reason i knew he wasnt going to shoot us as he didnt even point the gun at me or john. My guess it wasnt a real gun but i wasnt worth risking my life.

You got mugged in Rancho? LMFAO! Easily one of the nicer areas around that little hellhole of Southern Cali. I'd hate to see what would happen to you in LA.
 
i thought in those situations since it's night out and an untrained marksman is not going to be able to hit diddly squat running and in dark..should have thrown burrito in face and other crap and start running.

You should have put your finger in the barrel of the gun. Then he would have shot it and it would have blew up back at his face, causing his face to look all black and charred.

That probably has more to do with the affluent part than the ethnicity part.

I'm sure if I lived in a rich, mixed race private/gated community there'd be little crime too.
