hey, no flash in the gallery!

bingo

Heheh...I didn't need the flash. There's no pictures at all apparently so I got a chewed out by the security a little.

It's by Andreas Gursky. A photograph of a Jackson Pollock painting.

Since I took a photograph of his photograph of a painting.... I figure I trumped him. Now if someone makes a painting of my photograph the circle will be complete :)

Holy crap... how the hell did that painting get put up in a gallery in the first place?! It looks like some kid accidentally painted it.

Then, on top of that, to tarnish the reputation of art even further, a guy takes a photograph of the crappy painting - and his photograph gets put in the gallery!

ARGH..

Heh.. my friend is in Italy right now and he snapped a picture of the Mona Lisa. I dunno how he snuck his DiMage (or however you spell it) 5.1mp digital camera in there.

Ah....not exactly. He spread his canvas on the ground and dripped/drizzled/splattered paint on it. He didn't go around collecting used drop cloths and selling them.

I think they ought to take a black light to those canvasses and see what else is on them. :Q :Q

No. Why would I be? It's called abstract expressionism.
