You don't like smoke, go somewhere else. Keith Richards has smoked 3 packs a day for 50 years and he's stil alive, a little secondhand smoke isn't going to kill you.

And no, I don't care about anyone's children. Put them in a plastic bubble if you're so concerned. Also stop feeding them fried, processed, and refined foods. You'll probably want to eliminate red meat too. Don't let them play outside, it's too dangerous. Only allow them to drink distilled water. Don't send them to school without a rebreather, lord only knows what kind of germs those other rugrats are carrying. Hell, with all the things out there that can kill you you might want to invest in a good HazMat suit.

If that were only true down here in FL. Its not uncommon down here to see people smoking in the non-smoking section of not only restaurants, but in many other places where smoking is not allowed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If someone is smoking near me, I tell them to get the hell away from me with their cancer sticks.

Or the manager/owner of the establishment with such a policy. If they see it as being a good idea to have decided on a non-smoking policy in the first place for their establishment, then they shouldn't have a problem acting to enforce it. If they don't enforce it, then you have the right to ask that it be enforced.

I tell anyone near me to go away that's smoking if I was there first. If they are already there smoking then I won't go by them.

Now I have no problem with that, I respect people enough to try to abide by your rights as well as mine. if you say it is bothering you then I stop. I have no problem with that. but this whole ban thing is starting to go a bit far

Okay, then how are you going to make sure no one that smokes gets near enough to me to give me an asthma attack?

OK here is the differance in me and you, I didn't ask for all this BS, I just wanted to pick my child up from school feed her lunch and take her back, she is my problem not yours your your kids, I never asked the school board to do all this, they just knew about it from a file and did it, I didn't want it. it is YOUR problem not mine nor anyone elses if you are alergic to someone or something, take the steps you need and stop blaming everyone else for YOUR problem. take some resposiblilty.

I don't know if Keith Richards is the best example, yeah, he's alive, but he looks 1,300 years old. Don't know if that's all due to tobacco, but i don't think we'll see him in promotional advertisements as the Marlboro man anytime soon either....

I didn't say it wasn't my problem, I said I wish tobacco products were illegal. Home-schooling is also an option you know. It would allow you to be *responsible* for the situation.

He looked terrible 30 years ago too. Maybe all those chemicals are acting as a preservative.
