I got FREE steak, $18.50 top sirloin!

So I'm shopping tonight, Publix had sirloin on sale, $5.99 and $6.99 for Sirloin fillet, I noticed a huge Sirloin tagged with the fillet price, snatched it up, paid and made a bee line for the customer service desk, "there is a problem with my order"..I then whipped out the steak and pointed out it had a fillet price on a regular steak, she was going to head to the meat dept to "fix" it, uh, no, manager please, he walks over, "it's priced wrong, he gets it free!, Publix policy, "if any item scans incorrectly or a sale item is priced wrong customer gets the item for free, excluding tobacco and beer/wine"....

Yeah, and it happened twice. I noticed on the receipt after a long checkout, but want to wait around for a .50 refund, so I stopped buying beer at that publix. I had a liquor store within walking distance and a better one 10 minutes away by car.

can we just full out ban those that exploit 'good deals'?

Publix is awesome. Everyone makes mistakes, their problem is they create sales too quickly while this punk rapes them and probably texts his buddies on his pay as you go phone.

Idiot, I didn't STEAL the steak, it's THEIR OWN price guarantee system in place, I have EAGLE eyes for price's if it's meat, it looks oddly priced I'll notice it in a second, I cut meat for 8 years so......FREE STEAK FOR ME!!!.

As usual your 15 IQ plows it's way through, there is no one to text because it's ONLY THE ONE PACKAGE, and FYI Publix is where 80% of my shopping is done for the last 25 years, I would hardly say a couple of pieces of free meat is RAPING!, OMG RAPING! them LOL...
