To go see a taping of the Colbert Report in NYC! 😀 😀

Now I have to start planning my flight, hotel accommodations and whatever else I'm gonna do in New York for the days that I decide to stay there.

I can get an awesome rate on plane tickets by booking them this early, but I'm not sure about the rest. The studio is on 54th, between 10th and 11th avenue. Any ideas for good+affordable hotels, good places to eat and places to see(Besides the obvious)? I'm probably gonna rely on walking or taking the metro while there.

AAHHHHH, it needs to be June now!!!

Sounds cool, have fun and stay away from the hookers with adams apples...😉

I'm wanting to do this (Daily Show taping, actually) with a week (or long-weekend) site-seeing NY trip with my daughter, but getting the timing down (for cheap tickets, hotels, etc) seems to be tricky.

I'm looking to get tickets for a taping of the daily show a day before or after the Colbert taping is scheduled. Nothing would make me happier!

Oh man, I've been to the Daily show and Colbert Report. Its fun, but its also pretty annoying. You stand outside in line for like 3-4 hours, nothing to do, then you get in and wait about another hour. It was only bearable because I was with 4 of my friends.

The day I went to the Colbert Report there was a huge storm where it rained sideways, That was fun.

Considering I'm flying from Florida, I'm probably gonna stand outside for 5 hours just so I know I didn't waste $700, hehe.
