Gamefly has a distribution center in Florida now, so you should get your games pretty quickly. Yes you do pay for the time when you're waiting for games in transit, just like Netflix. The problem I had with Gamefly wasn't transit times, it was availability of popular games. They just didn't have enough copies of the latest games. That was at the end of last year, so they could have gotten better by now.

To be honest none of the game rental services I've tried is worth a crap.

Gamesnflix is super slow. I tried another one that was super slow but I forgot the name at the moment.

Gamefly always had the games I wanted on long wait times.

Maybe try Hollywood video's 20 dollar per month unlimited game rental thing? It is a little more obviously but those other services sucked when I tried them.

so guys what do you think of gamesnflicks?

Don't do it, the service sucks. I just canceled because in the past 12 months I got two games out of the 25 that were in my queue. It got so bad that I complained and they gave me like six months for free, but it was still so bad that I canceled before the six months were up.

I have a hollywood video near me, $20 mo unlimited sounds good, I went to blockbuster.com but they say 'reduced price game rentals' and only like 5 in store swaps a month.

I don't go there often it's a pretty run down store, they have a good anime selection but I don't know how good the games selection is, probably not that good or always oos.

as for gamefly, maybe I should do the 1 game at a time since I usually play the same game for at least a week or so. Figure, over 3 weeks of playtime and 1 week transit on 3 game rentals.

I had netflix for a while and the old movies they had maybe 1 in stock, which were always out and the new movies had 100 in stock and they were out too, so new movies and old movies ratio of availability/demand seemed to cancel out. I hope that made sense.

not with my shitty costco store credit I couldn't.

I have 45 pairs of Diesels right now, I can hold off there is nothing I want I don't have atm.

I hate to hijack, but WTF? 45 pairs?? Isn't that a little overkill?

No, because he refuses to take a break from gaming, and eventually poops his pants. NEXT PAIR!!!

I would like to thank mugs for constantly drilling in the return policy. I only hope they don't give me problems or hassles if I have rrod in six months.

You don't return your 360 to costco if you get a RROD, you call MS and get it replaced.

Besides, you should never have purchased it without verifying that you've got the Falcon version of the 360, the one that will not RROD. If you just grabbed one off the shelf and headed for checkout, you get what you deserve 😛

I e-mailed Costco customer service, they said it's fine to bring it back to the store. Let them deal with returning it to Microsoft. Only disadvantage is that you have to migrate your downloaded games (you can swap the hard drives, but you have to transfer the licenses).
