I ordered an ATI (Connect3D) X850 XT Platinum Edition (OEM) for $499.00 + FREE SHIPPING from Monarch.com. The shipping was supposed to be FedEx Express Saver - 5 to 7 business days, I just got the tracking number and it says FedEx 2nd Day shipping, should be here on Wednesday.

If that's not good service than I don't know what is. 😀

Which I will be selling on ebay, probably tomorrow...
 
And before you ask, I also ordered an MSI Neo4 to go with this X850, which means I will also be selling my Neo2 on ebay, probably tomorrow... 😀

I guess I didn't read far enough. I just saw you had a 4600ti for sale in your sig and just assumed....that's what I get. It's cool you got a good deal, but it would have been cooler if you wheren't upgrading from the second fastest card made, but hey it is still a great deal. Glad you got the 2 day shipping. Post some benchies on here compairing the two systems.

That's the key of course... if he can get even $400 for the X800, then IMO it's worth it.

Wow, then it was no upgrade at all.
 
Not to be critical of anyone but the first thing that comes to mind, is the hassle involved in making this transition. Time selling, buying, and all that goes with it...is it worth the gain? Maybe thats my age showing. Regardless, hope it all works out for you when it is said and done.

1. The #1 reason I did this was to be ready for future PCI-E upgrades.

2. Even though the X850 XT PE isn't too much faster than the X800 XT PE, it is still...faster. 😀

3. The X850 looks better, and is quieter I think. (looks don't matter though) 😀

4. drifter106, this is a hassle, a pretty big one. But I paid $543 for X800 XT PE and $139 for my Neo2 = $682. The X850 ($499) + Neo4 ($155) = $654.

I could easily sell my X800 XT PE for at least $500 on ebay. And the Neo2 for at least $120.

So, in the end, it all works out. BTW, my mom doesn't know I ordered $654 worth of parts. She's gonna be maaaaad.......🙂
 
I wish you well, but if someone gives you $500 for that card, used, I'll be amazed.
Hell, Chumbo.com has the X850XT PE for $485.

Do you have any pictures of what the Connect3d X850 XT PE looks like? Does it look like the one that is currently on Monarch, with the tribal art looking writing on it?
